Nurse Unseen is a feature-length documentary that explores the little-known history and humanity of the unsung Filipino nurses risking their lives on the frontlines of a pandemic, thousands of miles from home. The film unearths the colonial ties between the Philippines and the United States that have led to Filipino-American nurses becoming the unknown backbone of the United States health industry. Multistate Licensure Comes to Ohio January 3, 2023
Starting January 1, 2023, Ohio joins one of many states to join Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), an interstate agreement that authorizes RNs and LPNs to practice physically or virtually in 37 other states across the country. When a nurse has their multi state license (MSL), they can be available in a compact state immediately, boosting staff morale, productive and workforce numbers.
Starting January 3, 2023, you may log-in to your Ohio eLicense portal and submit a service request to convert your Ohio single states license to an Ohio multi state license.
